Samsung feeds us with promises to release a folding smartphone for many years, and all in any way, although it has all the necessary patents and technologies in its hands. The world was already tired of waiting, and the company ZTE arrived in time, showing its own folding smartphone Axon M.
The design of the gadget is unique, as it pivots to turn a mobile phone into a tablet with a screen diagonal of 6.75 inches. At the same time, the manufacturer assures that this will not affect the image quality.
According to the latest data, a unique setting of the tablet phone can be used in different ways – by opening two applications on the screen, and for work you can use the tablet mode.
The new ZTE Axon M, of course, can not boast of a flexible screen – in fact, it’s a clamshell, only horizontal, and there are two screens here, although they are placed on the outer part of the case, so it’s very often necessary to change them due to damages. Both screens hold a resolution of Full HD at a diagonal of 5.2 inches and are located under the glass Gorilla Glass 5, the smartphone itself is built on the old Qualcomm 821 last year’s sample, working in tandem with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory.
A horizontal clamshell is powered by a 3180 mAh battery, which is very small for two displays at once, but it has a separate headphone input along with the USB port, and it runs on Android 7.1.2. ZTE Axon M weighs 230 grams with a thickness of 12 millimeters.
