The largest manufacturers are proud to demonstrate their gaming laptops equipped with new chips. Among the first were Acer, Gigabyte, Samsung and ASUS.
The updated 15.6-inch notebook Acer Nitro 5 has received new processors Core i7 and Core i7 + the eighth generation with architecture Coffee Lake-H.
Among other characteristics of the model can be noted: Full HD display, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card, up to 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB hard drive or NVMe PCIe drive up to 512 GB.
Gigabyte AERO15X and 15 are practically frameless gadgets with a diagonal of 15.6 and RAM of up to 32 gigabytes, which are available at the disposal of a brand new six-core Intel Core i7-8750H (2.2-4.2 GHz). The matrices for both models have a refresh rate of 144 hertz with a pixel response time of 7 ms. For a surcharge, it is proposed to replace the IPS-screen with a resolution of Full HD on the LCD panel with 4K-resolution and with 100% coverage of the AdobeRGB color space. The AERO 15 uses the video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, in the AERO 15X – GeForce GTX 1070. Other innovations of the updated models: the presence of light sensors, USB 3.1 ports instead of USB 3.0 and a slimmer case.
Gamer laptop Samsung Notebook Odyssey Z is a 15.6-inch model with Full HD-display based on the latest Intel Core i7 eighth generation. It was equipped with a cooling system Z AeroFlow Cooling System with an evaporation chamber and two fans, a full discrete video card from NVIDIA model GeForce GTX 1060 Max-P with 6 GB of video memory GDDR5, 16 GB of RAM and an NVMe SSD drive up to 1 GB. Supports work with VR-helmets, on the keyboard with backlight instead of the digital block there is a touchpad, there is a button for starting the recording of gameplay and switching on a noiseless mode with a level of 22 dB.
New ASUS ROG Zephyrus M (GM501) is equipped with the Intel Core i7-8750H eighth generation with a clock speed of 3.9 GHz on all six cores and graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060/1070. Also here are installed:
• IPS-display with a diagonal of 15.6 inches, Full HD resolution, refresh rate of 144 hertz, anti-reflective coating;
• DDR4 memory in 16 gigabytes;
• high-speed drive NVMe PCIe, which can hold 256 gigabytes.
ASUS ROG G703 was awarded the top six-core Core i9-8950HK, as well as the unlocked multiplier. Moreover, it was equipped with:
• a 17.3-inch display with G-Sync technology and a refresh rate of 144 hertz;
• a video card from NVIDIA model GeForce GTX 1080;
• RAM – up to 16 gigabytes.
