Company Panasonic has announced a new mobile PC Toughbook CF-20 mk2, created far from for everyone. It is intended for employees of special services, military and fire. The model refers to the type of devices “2 in 1”, that is, the laptop can easily be turned into a tablet.
The keyboard module gives not only the ability to quickly print and work with documents, but also an additional battery for another 8 hours, which in total gives 17 hours of operation on a single charge. The device has an improved camera with support for visual and infrared sensors, as well as the function of biometric identification of Windows Hello. The size of the keys on the keyboard increased by 8%. The resolution of the 10.1-inch touchscreen is 1920×1200 pixels, but at the same time, they can be used in gloves. The model is based on the Intel Core i5-7Y57 vPro processor of the seventh generation, supplemented with 8 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD drive and 4G LTE module.
The laptop from Panasonic received an electromagnetic interference filter that meets military standards. Panasonic Toughbook has an enhanced security protocol that encrypts all your data, and its case has protection from water, dust, hand curves, bumps, drops and temperature drops, and all this also applies to the keyboard with which it weighs about 1.5 kg and 950 grams without it.
