HMD Global has announced in China a new smartphone under the Nokia brand. The new model will be supplied to the Chinese buyers as Nokia X7, in the rest of the world the model will go on sale under the name Nokia 7.1 Plus. Currently, HMD Global has presented only the version for China, the international presentation is still ahead.
Nokia X7 has got a fairly standard to date screen with a diagonal of 6.18 inches and a resolution of 2246 ? 1080 pixels. The effective screen area is 86.5% of the front panel area, on which there is an already familiar cutout in the upper part. For the screen, the PureDisplay IPS panel was used with the following parameters: coverage 96% of NTSC space, 1500: 1 contrast ratio and maximum brightness 500 cd / m2. Real-time SDR content conversion is supported.
The hardware part of the Nokia X7 is represented by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. 4/6 GB RAM and 64/128 GB flash memory. There is support for memory cards up to 500 GB. However, the connector for microSD is combined with a slot for a second SIM card. Nokia X7 battery life is provided by a 3500 mAh battery. Supports fast charging Quick Charge 3.0 (18 W), allowing you to get half the charge in 30 minutes. No wireless charging. The back panel is made of glass, and the frame is of anodized aluminum alloy of the 6000 series. The smartphone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless modules (2.4 + 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.0. The Nokia X7 has a main vertical dual camera located in the center of the upper part of the back side. The front 20-megapixel camera has 0.9 microns pixels and a lens with a maximum fF / 2.0 aperture. Using an AI system that recognizes 18 different scenarios, you can get a bokeh effect in portrait mode and take pictures in low light conditions (the algorithm combines 4 pixels at once into one).
The physical size of the Nokia X7 is 154.8 x 75.7 x7.97 mm, and the weight is 178 grams. The smartphone is equipped with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, an update to Android 9 Pie has been announced.
The delivery is carried out in the colors of Dark Blue or Night Red, in the future it is planned to add two more colors: Magic Night Silver and Night Black.
