The CLARO represents the latest innovation in TV and display technology combined with a visual design  aesthetic to introduce the TV system of the future – a transparent glass TV and media system utilising holographic technology.The Holoscreen is a revolutionary holographic film which displays any image fed through a projector at a specific angle on to a  transparent display. All other light is ignored. The result is a remarkably bright and sharp image quality – even in brightly lit environments. The screen is a 1.5m x 1.0m rectangle of 10mm glass with a 610mm x 814mm sheet of translucent attached to it. Any type of projector can  be used to cast the image. To complete the futuristic setup, a pair of optional Ferguson Hill FH001 speakers can be positioned either side of the screen.

    Couldn’t you just solve the speaker thing with your own surround system?

    This should also be a wall large so when I watch wrestling I feel like I’m hanging out with the announcers and cutting sick interviews on my friends at the same time.

    So….. it’s a rear-projection TV, but takes up even more space? and has no speakers? Boy, I can’t wait to see the early adopters jump on this one.

    Looks stupid to me, you’d need to always have a relatively dark room and you would always have to have the television in front of a dark backdrop. Dumbest idea ever.

    I know one whole paragraph is a lot to read, but you should try it sometime.

    @Liz
    Liz is right, look at the 4th photo. Hey talvesh, see the black cabinet frame behind the screen? Getting deep blacks is the main challenge when projecting in a bright room. The statement “all other light is ignored” must mean that it’s the viewers’ job to ignore that “other light”

    I like how even just these demo photographs show you that they still havent found a solution to the problem of not being able to see the screen properly unless you’re sitting directly in front of it.
