In Japan, first invented tires that do not require pumping, for cars, and now it’s the turn to bicycles. Production of know-how is handled by the Japanese manufacturer Bridgestone. The company plans to enter the market with new products in a year, as it hopes to be in time for the Olympic Games, which will be held in Tokyo in 2020.
The Japanese brand offered a new design of wheels for amateurs, the spokes have a thermoplastic rubber base. It reduces resistance when the driver rides a bicycle. Wheels from Bridgestone are not afraid of glass, nails and other sharp objects, they do not need to be pumped up and easy to clean. The future price of development with the applied technology “Air Free Concept” is still unknown.
