Remember how frenzied car enthusiasts all over the world dreamed of flying cars? They have not yet been launched into commercial production, but they are no longer needed. With traffic jams now will fight very the real, rather than fabulous cars.
Imagine a bus hovering at an altitude of several meters above the ground. Monorail and two coasters ensure its movement. So conceived in the project, the work on which began the inventor from Russia Dahir Semyonov. According to his calculations, gyrocars can even overtake each other due to the height balancing.
The idea of ??creating such a transport occupied the engineers of Western Europe and Russia at the dawn of the twentieth century. The Russian inventor Pyotr Shilovsky proposed the development of a model of a gyro train as far back as 1911, according to his plan he should move along a monorail. Three years later Shilovsky traveled around London on a gyrocar with a speed of more than 150 km / h. So this is far from the newest invention.
This design maintains the balance by analogy with the modern gyroscoper, in which the sensor system gives signals for deviations from the axis, and they are processed 100 times per second. The position of the person affects the speed and direction of the gyroscope, and the self-balancing system ensures the stability of the “rider”. A “bus of the future” is constructed on the same principle. The author of the concept even thought about the work of the fire gyrocar, as well as the copies for fun walks and events in the style of limousines, but with a larger scope.
And one more pleasant circumstance is envisaged: such transport will be powered by solar batteries.
True, the implementation of a branched gyroscopic monorail system will require a thorough modernization of the transport network infrastructure and the appearance of cities in general. And this is a serious monetary expenditure involving a large workforce, technology, and maybe,a robots. On the other hand, if humanity plans to fully enforce mega-cities, transport UAVs, drones for the delivery of goods, flying cars (no one refuses this idea), then reconstruction is inevitable.
