Future mobile phones

Mind you, this is not a “Green” concept and neither does it claim to be “Eco Friendly”. It’s just a helpful solution for a tricky situation. The situation being: you running out of juice on your mobile phone. So what do you do? Remove the battery from the back of the phone; give it a few good turns around your index finger and its gathered enough power to last you a conversation or a safe trip to your charger and electric point.

Nice concept. Wait to see how many batteries will fly off their finger and smash to the ground…maybe an insert-able hand-crank.or built in…

I think you’ll find that almost every has around 10 such cranks on-hand at all times.

If you need two hands to operate a crank-battery, just stick your finger in the finger-battery and use the other hand to crank!

Okay, this has got to be one of the neatest ideas I’ve seen in a long time! I like the whole concept of at least being able to use your phone anytime – after just a few turns of the finger. It’s happened to most people; the phone dies at the worst possible moment…!

This is quite cool. Only real problem I see is a lot of phones are a pain in the butt to quickly and easily get the battery out and back in with the cover.

So who not take this idea a small step further and put that hole near the edge of the phone itself(probably not a good idea on “smart or flip phones but may be a round that)that way you could just insert finger into it and spin the phone itself. The extra weight should allow for a more aggressive gear ratio on the charging mechanism, allowing for a faster charge. Or, even better with phones with either enough room inside or y some careful moving and condensing of internal parts(parts are getting smaller almost daily) It could be possible to add in one of those shake and charge devices that they put in some survival type flashlights. With these last two improvements, especially the shaker type you could put the phone on speaker and continue talking while you charge it.
But even this idea is pretty cool in and of itself.

Now find a cell phone company willing to make their phones thicker to accommodate the extra thickness. The one they showed uses up half the space of a normal battery just for the hole.

Just think how many lawsuits will happen because of “battery wrist” or people being battered by those charging their batteries.

Needs to be able to fit a pencil, yes a #2 pencil. And for those who can, this is great with a 5-8 year old in tow. My kid could charge the battery full in 5 mins i bet.

Why does this have to be part of the battery itself? Just find a way to incorporate the idea into a charger, so that you can secure the battery into a twistable charger and crank/spin the whole thing.

the hell with the battery, i want to spin an iphone or a samsung galaxy on my finger that will charge the battery. or better yet give me a small hand crank i can use to get some juice into the battery! the phone will house more space for it than tiny battery.
