New 2015 immediately started with loud premiere – designer Margot Krasoevich, famous for its futuristic architecture and the industrial projects, announced a partnership with the South African company Holden Manz. Specially commissioned by the well-known wine brands, it has created a unique concept, this yacht of the future – sailing trimaran Solar.
Ship, which has no analogues, on the project, shall be equipped with a huge stiff Kevlar sail, miniature solar panels to catch not only a fair wind, but also solar energy. To sail absorbed photons as much as possible, the ship’s hull is covered with small Fresnel lenses and a special reflective film that redirects light falling on the light panel.
Should collect sufficient quantities of energy for the operation of all the equipment on board the boat, moreover, the energy may be used to move the ship in calm weather. There is, however, one question: how to be on the deck so illuminated vessel? Insolation should be almost prohibitive.
For the construction of buildings trimaran will be used tri-processed materials of carbon fiber, which makes this yacht not only the product design and design art, but also one of the most greener world yacht. This project – just a visualization of the new eco-friendly ideas and work on it in full swing. According to the creator of the project, in plans to come up with a way to collect the kinetic energy released when moving boats. Unlike other risky fantastic concept yacht, this project will start put into practice in the near future.
