Artist Kevin Noki created a concept device that combines the best features of the MacBook and iPad Pro. A universal gadget can replace a full-fledged laptop, tablet and desktop computer.
As early as 2019, the first devices with flexible screens should appear and this hybrid is an example of how technology can be used and developed. According to Kevin Noki, this is the result of six months of design, animation, editing and rendering.
In the open position, the gadget turns into one large screen, on which you can work fully. Then it turns on and it becomes clear that this is not a kind of iPad, but a touchscreen MacBook.
Next on the device run Photoshop and an invisible user draws directly on the screen using Apple Pencil – this accessory can not be used with the current MacBook. After the screen is re-folded in half and continue to work.
Then the gadget is unfolded so that it becomes a real MacBook with a touch keyboard and a touchpad. As Kevin Noki notes, this is just a concept, you should not expect the appearance of the MacPad Pro ever.
Moreover, Apple executives have repeatedly made it clear that they are not interested in uniting the MacBook and iPad.
Although, rumors about the release of a hybrid laptop from Apple appeared last week. According to insiders, in 2020 the company will introduce the MacBook, equipped with a touchscreen display, a SIM card slot and a mobile ARM processor. The device should be running iOS, as an iPhone or iPad.
