Now it’s only a matter of time before folding smartphones start selling. Perhaps Sony will also release such a gadget and it is possible that it will be similar to the Xperia Flex.
Designers from Techconfigurations recently introduced the concept of the smartphone Sony Xperia Flex, which, when folded, resembles a worn-out purse. According to the idea of the authors, the device is rendered like a PlayStation 4 console. A distinctive feature of the concept is the ability to fold it in half, as well as additional displays for notifications. The concept shows a smartphone with a 6.2-inch OLED-display with a resolution of 4K and an aspect ratio of 18: 9.
In addition to the main display, there are two additional 3-inch screens on the ends of the smartphone for displaying service information, notification and the like.
Other characteristics of the smartphone-dream include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU, 4 or 6 GB of operative and 128, 256 or 512 GB of built-in flash memory, a dual main camera 19 + 12 megapixels, a front camera at 13 megapixels, protection from water and dust at the level of IP68.
