The construction of a temporary home or another building (for example, a portable hospital) alone can become not only labor-intensive, but also costly. To solve this problem, the British company Ten Fold Engineering has created a self-deploying structure, which in just 8 minutes turns into a real house. So far only a prototype of such housing is ready, but in the near future the project is planned to be put into production.
All need to do to the owner is to press the button, and with the help of the counterweight system, the rooms of the building begin to unfold (or fold). The developers note, that as soon as the house turns around, its parts need only be fixed with an electric drill.
The area of ??this house is approximately 64 m2. It can be used for various purposes, for example, to equip a portable hospital or office there.
Optional autonomous power supply and water treatment systems are available. They will have to be paid for, but in the future such an addition will give significant savings on utility payments and simply complete freedom of action. In addition, the owner of a dwelling, office, working class or mobile office can always move to a new place immediately with his “placement”. The company emphasizes, that the structure can be easily transported by truck.
