Energy can be saved in this way. Take the construction as Dialug, which combine the timer into the outlet. Thus, for devices that need 2-3 hours of charging, the timer automatically turns off the power once the time has expired.  If you believe the words of the designer, then do the following: “Turn it counter-clockwise to power sign to set for regular use and clockwise to set timer for gadgets that need only limited time of power.” That’s it. Excess energy will not be using. Quite good.
