Without Japanese inventors on Earth, life would surely have been boring and depressing! Only engineers from the Land of the Rising Sun are always able to come up with something such “useful”, but not suitable for our real life. At least, for most, the strange inventions are more likely to cause surprise, bewilderment, fun and, as a result, a good mood. One of these gadgets was the newly made jet pack Lunavita.
Japanese craftsmen came up with an interesting backpack, with which a person can jump further and higher than usual. In order for this to be possible, the device is equipped with 16 screws. According to the creators of the unique backpack, with it a person can jump over the road, example. This is useful for schoolchildren. They can not wait for cars to pass, but simply jump over to the other side.
Lunavity invented and implemented by team of students from the University of Tokyo. The invention consists of two parts: a knapsack with batteries and a system of screws located in a circle above the head of a backpack carrier. They are responsible for lifting a person into the air, thereby opening up new opportunities for him, as if he is on the surface of the moon. Also, the developers suggest, that their invention will useful for older people and people with disabilities who are unable to move independently. So that, off wheelchairs and expensive exoskeletons, which are more reliable and safer than the flying drones, because Lunavity only lifts a person after a jump to a height two or three times higher than usual and smoothly lowers it to the ground.
For now, experts have presented a non-working prototype of a backpack “for jumping”. But even with this example, you can understand that the possibilities of a person are expanding, and very quickly. Whether the gadget will be launched into batch production is not known.
