Bell Helicopter presents you, futuristic air taxi cabin design that features fully integrated user experience.
While this is only a cabin, Bell Helicopter has not shown the propulsion system, but promised to disclose the technical specifications later.
As stated in the company, air taxis will become part of the Internet of things, which will allow every air car to be constantly online, and passengers will be able to communicate with colleagues, passengers of other connected vehicles, friends and relatives along the way. In general, if you remember the good old book “One Hundred Years Onwards” and the automatic flying machines described there, called flips – it’s almost the same.
As stated, all technological solutions will be hidden in the cabin, although it is still difficult to say, what will be there actually. Of course, developers are touted their child with might and main.
If we talk about people who will fly in such taxis, it’s my grandmother and her grandchildren – ordinary people who would never have been able to afford to fly by helicopter – so says the director on innovation Scott Drennen.
So it or not – we’ll see. However, co-founder of another developer of the flying taxi company Volocopter Alex Zosel believes, that such aerotaksi will appear in the next 2-3 years. It seems, that with him agree in NASA and Airbus at least.
