The handset in question here is the LG G Flex X, a foldable phone that becomes an 8.5 inch tablet. We see the device is curved on the sides and we have a discrete integration of the dual front camera. By the way, this phone has no notch from what we can see and the top and bottom bezel are quite big compared to modern standards. The two screens are hooked up seamlessly to work together. There’s also a multi display option, so you can use each part of the screen to play a different content or do a different activity.
While the concept sounds plausible and applies what we’ve seen in the sketches and patents, the second screen feels rather flimsy.
Now coming to technical specifications, this concept will feature two 6.2 inch 4K OLED display which could be unfolded to form a 8.5 inch 4K OLED display. It is powered by Snapdragon 855 Chipset couple with 8 GB of RAM. The camera department will feature 16MP Dual camera module with f/1.5 on back while the front camera would be 8MP . The device would be build out of metal and glass while it will also be IP68 water and dust resistant.
This is one of the most complex foldable smartphone concepts.
At its core it’s a dual display device, that has a screen at the back, which can be split from the body and moved towards the front, like a special rotating cover of sorts. What you think about it.
