Concept Pose Mobile Phone .

This concept is more like a utopia than a real truth. But it deserves attention and it can be seen as a vision for the future. This is a concept created after Apple revealed the first ipod shuffle (usb-stick). Utilizing light reflective display (which already invented by a company called Immersion), instead of following the same large screen display design, this mobile phone concept boasts flip/clamshell form. The swivel screen enables you to rotate the display at 180-degree or transform it to become a vertical e-book reader or horizontal music player. Pose Mobile Phone concept has been designed with ability to use 2 different SIM cards, which should be pretty handy if you don’t like carrying 2 mobile phones around.

Concept of device uses complete surface as the display, pretty contrast to read the e-books. Also, almost all surface is sensorial that means you can use and even reprogram all of it’s sides or corners to act as you wish. Example: make the right side to act as the scroll wheel or the wacom’ touch strip. Moreover it could be some kind of “sensorial profiles” for applications.

Irrepressible imagination of designers making our vision of future devices unpredictable! What other amazing shapes and sizes can be seen in these inventions? Look for this smartphone. He as a lampshade (charging cradle) when not in use. The design explores the usage of flexible LED screen to the hilt. Moreover the screen is a tad bit exaggerated to mimic a curvy tablet. ! Look for this smartphone. Very clearly, unusual and attractive. One can argue?

Place the heat plate wherever you want and pair it with your smartphone to gain a child safe remote control. This smart induction hot plate is a compact solution for those on the go. The smartphone app is designed to be used with intelligent food packaging where NFC-tags provide instructions on how to heat the food properly.

The induction plate is a glossy black and white design with a wooden handle that makes it easy to carry and store and can be hung on a wall when charging the battery. The smart-phone app also comes with a memory that intuitively remembers how you previously cooked. This heating plate is hot in every sense.

The 2LMX watch sports an interesting design with a transparent crystal case. Created by Arnaud Tellier, the former head of the Geneva Patek Philippe museum. This watch only indicates the time in a 24-hour format, and it will be produced in titanium, platinum, white gold and pink gold with black or white rubber stripes. This visibility makes the watch fascinating, as the rotating drums and mechanical components are exposed.

Concept Modular mobile phone.

Modu is a mobile phone with modular features both in software and hardware. The Modu Modular Mobile Phone concept looks to remedy problem with an innovative idea that would allow users to fully-upgrade their phones as they please. The fully-customizable Modu mobile phone is made of three distinct parts that are fully separable. The LCD display that fronts the phone forms the first layer of the phone’s body can be easily detached and replaced with a new screen in case it is broken and cannot be repaired. If the user wants to get a screen with a better resolution or upgrade the touch-capacity of their phone, they would simply need to detach the screen from the phone and replace it with a new screen without having to give up the functionality of their old phone and the data saved in it.

Similarly, the second layer of the modular phone would be comprised of an aluminum-bodied section that would basically connect the phone to its accessories and also connect the processing unit and the screen together. This section would have the control buttons on its sides and the headphone, charger and USB inputs on the bottom side of it. The third segment of the phone would house the processing unit, the memory, the camera, the speakers and all the other essential hardware in it. The fully-customizable unit will feature removable units for separate upgradeable units like the camera, the processor and the speaker, etc., and should the user wish to upgrade any one of these parts, they would be able to do so by simply removing that particular unit from the module and replacing them with a new one.

Amazing concept of the railway infrastructure of the future. Efficient operation of old and new. Two trains move in one direction, or may move in different directions. As well as trains rush through the old familiar railway. So, the Eco Drive Monorail (EDM) will expand the existing rail network which has struggled to keep up with high demand at peak commuter times. It offers a range of environmentally friendly technologies and innovative design features. Will the reality of this concept remains to be seen.

Intuos 4 – Innovative Tablet by STUCK

Handling, thiness, tactility and even the sound of pen on paper was essential for the close connection between artist and artwork. In order for technology to replace pen and paper, the Intuos 4 needed to be more craft and computing. To achieve this, the Intuos 4 needed a dead simple learning curve and interaction elements that were here when you needed it and gone when you don’t. Even users familiar with the previous intuos mouse – often lamented as unwieldy and unused, finally praised it as a worthy tool to the intuos tablet.

Electrolux Ribbon: Mobile Food Heater/Cooler

The Ribbon is a mobile device that users can wrap/drape around their food containers to cool or heat food without having to stick it in a microwave or a fridge. One of the 8 finalists at the 2011 Electrolux Design Lab competition, the Ribbon is an innovative new food heater/cooler concept by Enzo Kocak. The device comes with two separate planes for heating and cooling functions. The flexible, shape retaining device bends and flexes with a wire-like rigidity allowing users to easily wrap it around any food container of bottle. The dual-sided device has dozens of tiny battery-powered thermoelectric cells on each side that cool or heat food and drinks.

The rubberized flexible polymer shell of the Ribbon has copper linkages between the cells inside that maximize the device’s energy efficiency. The device easily splits into four segments that can be reattached side-by-side to form rectangular hot/cool plate or used normally as a wraparound heating/cooling device. The device also has magnets in its embedded design that help users wrap the Ribbon around larger ferrous pots and pans to prevent it from slipping off. Dual sided mirrored design allows the wrap around heating/cooling system to be used on both sides. The device can be recharged with a DC power adapter or through thermoelectric generation.
