Hardware is continuously evolving and only because of the competition, companies bring new ideas to the table. If you ask gamers about what manipulator they think is most convenient for interacting with the worlds of video games, most of them would choose a keyboard and mouse. This kit offers much more flexibility in managing games. But in some games you simply need the capabilities of the gamepad, so the ideal option for choosing would be a device that would combine the functionality of computer and console manipulators.
Startup Lexip has developed a game mouse with two built-in sticks, that, when connected to a PC, will allow using it both as a traditional mouse and as a gamepad for consoles. Such ambitious ideas have already been put into practice by developers of gaming peripherals, but something did not work out. Now, this problem is trying to solve the startup Lexip.
The idea is to convert the regular game mouse into a symbiosis of a caudate manipulator and a gamepad. From the left side of the mouse, right under the thumb, it is planned to place the joystick, the interaction with which will occur exactly the same as with the stick on the controller for the console.
The second stick is built into the base of the mouse, turning it into a two-axis joystick under the palm of your hand: as a result, the mouse body can be tilted to the right and left by 20 degrees. All this looks strange and seems complicated, but intriguing. The developers promise that the mouse will be very maneuverable, fast and accurate. The resolution and size of the sensor do not disappoint. As the last in the mouse, a laser sensor ADNS-9800 with a resolution of 8200 CPI will be installed.
Unfortunately, it’s not a wireless mouse, but some gamers prefer wired one due to stable connection and responsiveness.
